A cleaner way to get around
The sidebar navigation has had a real glow-up. You can now collapse and expand it to suit how you like to work, and by default every category stays expanded so nothing important is hidden away.
Views and Alerts each now have their own dedicated page, making them easier to find and manage. And if there are views you check often, you can pin them so they show up right in the sidebar for one-click access.
Smarter data and automation
We fixed an issue where item counts could look off when filters were applied, so the numbers you see now reflect exactly what you've filtered for. We also cleaned up SQL Server exclusion rules in Automation, and you can now reorder items between pages, giving you more flexibility in how you organize your workflows. On top of that, we renamed "Last logged on device" to "Last activity device" for a bit more clarity, and gave the Anchor Point widget feature a performance boost.
Broader, smoother collection
The Collector got several under-the-hood upgrades this release:
- Support for Proxmox VE9.
- Support for OpenNebula and HPE Morpheus.
- SQL Server version detection from MSSQL logs on Linux.
- Smarter merging of scan sources for Active Directory and auto-discovered Hyper-V hosts.
- We also trimmed unnecessary scanning by skipping instance detail collection for SQL Server Reporting Services in SharePoint mode and for Integration Services when the Windows service isn't running.
- A few nagging bugs are gone too.
Microsoft 365 Apps
Microsoft 365 Apps are now automatically excluded from SPLA reporting, so your compliance numbers stay accurate without any manual cleanup as we did previously for Azure Arc onboarded VMs.
