This release is all about seeing more and doing more with your data. We've gone deeper into SQL Server, given you more control over how you filter and export your inventory, and made it easier to keep an eye on your collectors. Here's what's new.
Full SQL Server Instance & Database Scan

SQL Server is one of the most audit-sensitive products in the Microsoft stack — and accurate instance- and database-level data is what stands between you and an unexpected licensing bill. That's why we've built full instance and database scanning right into Octopus Cloud.
Flip a single switch — Enable full instance and database scan — and the OC Collector now gathers:
- Every SQL Server instance, with its status, edition, version, number of databases, and whether it's passive or active
- Every database on those instances, with its full details
The result is a complete, reliable picture of your SQL Server estate — no blind spots, no manual stitching together of data, and far stronger footing when it's time to report or defend an audit.
Export Devices, Users, Software & Organizations

Get your data out in whatever format fits your workflow. You can now export devices, users, software, and organizations as CSV, JSON, XLSX, or XML — ready for reporting, analysis, or handing off to another system. Managing organizations in bulk is easier too, with CSV import and options to update existing records, remove ones no longer in your file, and grant access on upload.
Better OC Collector Visibility

Keeping your data fresh starts with healthy collectors, so we've made the Collectors view far clearer. At a glance you can now see each collector's last start and last import times (with durations), alert badges, and its enabled status — so you can catch a stalled or failing collector before it ever affects your reporting.
