The program introduces the Partner Capability Score, an objective measure reflecting a partner’s proficiency across performance, skilling, and customer success metrics. Partners can achieve “Solutions Partner” or specialized designations by fulfilling competency requirements, positioning them as trusted advisors for Microsoft’s cloud ecosystem.
Participation is essential for those distributing Microsoft products or managing end customer environments under agreements such as SPLA (Service Provider License Agreement). The program also supports compliance, licensing optimization, and provides tools to track usage and rights, essential for managing complex cloud environments.
